Dr. D.S. Badkur (cell: 09425300998) promises a very comfortable and fruitful stay at Bhopal. Besides your academic appetite, the organizers hope to whet your appetite for sight seeing also. The city of Bhopal symbolises spiritual heritage of the people of Madhya Pradesh. Over the years, it has developed into a religious, cultural and commercial centre.
Bhopal is a rich cultural center. In a poetic way, it is often said that Bhopal is known for its Purdah (veil which women cover their faces with) and Zardah (A special kind of tobacco product). Residents of Bhopal are popularly known as Bhopalis, and are among the most loveable persons around the world. Many people remember the famous character of Surma Bhopali (Surma, the resident of Bhopal) in the blockbuster film Sholay.
