Self-Assessment in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology: MCQs in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology

This book fills a much needed void in medical education in forensic medicine. It is well thought out and presented. The subject matter is set out in chapters in the manner the student in India would be accustomed to. Whilst I cannot comment on the legal intricacies of Indian Law the rest of the book presents the questions with the answers presented at the end of each chapter. I personally prefer this to all the answers being presented at the end of the book. The questions themselves are in general clear and avoid ambiguities, a vital component of all Multiple Choice examinations. This book will not perhaps appeal to students outside the geographical region because of the way the subject is taught. However it is a very valuable source of information pertaining to Indian medical education.

I would commend this book as a necessary addition to students and libraries.
