The book "External Treblinka - our treatment of animals and the holocaust" written by Charles Patterson is divided into three parts and consists of 283 pages in all. The first part deals with the issue of Human supremacy and the exploitation of animals and vilifying others as animals.

The second part expands the above theory of human supremacy to humans being master species and race and ends with a third part that deals with holocaust issues.

I find this book to be very well researched and written with great sensitivity with the initial focus on animals and unavoidably to fellow humans conveying succinctly the massage intended. A wide reading of this book is recommended, as it will in no small way influence our behaviour to animals and humans alike.

Finally, I find it a compelling, entertaining, useful and informative book, which I strongly recommend to others in sub-Saharan Africa especially in war torn areas of the continent.
